It was a two-day event titled ‘Strategic Dialogue On International Education And Employability’. The goal is to train a more qualified workforce that will meet society's needs.

Children See Violent Crimes

Younger children were asked how much they knew about violent crimes and the people asking were surprised at just how much they really knew. Things like neighbors burning down the childs house, being on the scene of violent killings, even killings happening right in front of their faces. Villagers Live Longer

A ten year old Tiburon student participated in a Blue Zones Quest for three weeks and during that time studied a cluster of villages in Costa Rica. The fifth-grade student, Chace Schomstein, was looking into why these villagers lived longer than anyone else in the hemisphere.

Uruguat to get XO laptops in February

This month MIT's One Laptop Per Child project is finally coming to Uruguay. In February the project is rolling out about 2500 of its $150 laptops to eight countries. The XO machines are intuitive and kid-friendly.
