Mexican sewage treatment plant opened

Mexico's National Water Commission has announced that a waste water treatment plant has been opened in the city of Mexicali, across the border from Calexico, Calif. The plant will divert treated waste into the Hardy River, rather than dumping it untreated into waterways that run into California's seas.
