Historical vase on display in HCM City

The Binh SVC Company has set the record for the largest vase in Vietnam. The vase is made from 200,000 coconut shells and has been given to Ho Chi Minh City’s History Museum for display. The vase is depicts Vietnamese history with over 5000 designs and drawings.

Chavez rethinks plan to rename country

Hugo Chavez, at his swearing in on January 8, decided he wanted to emphasize his socialist revolution by renaming Venezuela's official name to "Socialist Republic of Venezuela". Instead he has changed his mind and the official name will remain the "Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela". The name is in honor of Simon Bolivar, the Venezuela-born Liberator of most of Spanish South America.
