Grenade explosion a personnel issue

On January 10 two hand grenades detonated injuring four soldiers at Ban Din Samoe post on Malaysia-Thailand border. It's been determined to be a personnel disciplinary issue and will be handled internally. Stern action will be taken against those involved so that an incident like this will not happen again.

Vietnam is rightfully upset because Taiwan held military exercise in areas where it had no right to be. Taiwan's maneuvers were on water area western to Ba Dinh island in the Truong Sa archipelago. The archipelagos are sovereign to Vietnam.
