Lunar Eclipse will be viewable in Chile

The only lunar eclipse this year will be visible for approximately 2 hours. The phenomenon will be visible starting at 20:20 local time, but moon will not disappear completely because the lunar eclipse involves three stages and Chile will only observe the end of the second stage and the third one completely.

Costa Rica Boils as North Freezes

Despite the nasty cold winter being experienced by Northern United States and Canada, Costa Rica hit the second hottest day in ten years. In Liberia temperatures hit 35 celcius. This is a record high was only closely accomplished in 1998 with a 31.2 celcius temperature.
