Railway link to be built across Vietnam

Plans for a $33bn rail link between the capital, Hanoi, and Ho Chi Minh City in the south, have been approved by the Vietnamese authorities. Once completed, the time required to travel between the two cities would be chopped from nearly two days to less than 10 hours.
